(NEW YORK — September 1, 2009) — Effective Tuesday, September 8th, MBL Communications, Inc. will launch the MBL Communications, Inc./ScholarOne website, which will help in managing all future submissions to our journals, CNS Spectrums and Primary Psychiatry. This new system will help to develop a more streamlined and efficient process for tracking peer review data and manuscripts.
Authors, contributors, and peer reviewers will submit manuscripts and peer reviews through the ScholarOne web sites by visiting the CNS Spectrums link (http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/cnsspectr) and/or the Primary Psychiatry link (http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/primarypsy). Incoming submissions will funneled through the ScholarOne system by various members of our staff, including Andrew Nierenberg, MD, Editor-in-Chief of CNS Spectrums, and Norman Sussman, MD, Editor-in-Chief of Primary Psychiatry.
ScholarOne Manuscripts (formerly known as Manuscript Central) is a web-based submission, peer review, and editing program, which is widely used in the industry. Overall, the ScholarOne system will make it much easier for contributors to submit material, and it will help to accelerate the peer review and revision process.
