CNS Spectrums Significantly Expands Editorial Advisory Board

(NEW YORK, NY - June 5, 2009)—MBL Communications, Inc. announced today the addition of 17 new members to CNS Spectrums' Editorial Advisory Board (EAB) effective June 1, 2009.

Under the guidance of the EAB and recently appoint Editor-in-Chief, Andrew A. Nierenberg, MD, CNS Spectrums is focused on improving its position as the largest peer-reviewed, scientifically indexed journal in neuropsychiatry, with a circulation of nearly 50,000 psychiatrist and neurologists worldwide—including all CINP members—while simultaneously increasing its Impact Factor (3.409 — Psychiatry 2007).

According to CNS Spectrums’ CEO & Publisher, Darren L. Brodeur, "The expanded EAB's profound breadth of expertise will assist us in identifying and soliciting the highest quality, clinically relevant papers authored by both domestic and international contributers that cover the full spectrum of psychiatric and neuropsychiatric issues, with an emphasis on informative clinical trials and critical reviews."

In conjunction with EAB expansion, CNS Spectrums has also reconfigured existing peer review process into the Web-based ScholarOne Manuscripts platform. This will streamline the journal's overall publication structure and improve both the time from manuscript submission to acceptance and acceptance to publication.
